Ghosts of Taylorton is the debut album from Saskatchewan Folk/Roots trio Hook & Nail, which earned them a 2020 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for New/Emerging Artist of the Year. Three singles from the album (Adeline, Two Tons, Ride) have been featured on CBC as well as coast-to-coast on college/campus radio. Ghosts of Taylorton tied for #4 in SaskMusic's Best Saskatchewan Albums of 2018.

Two Tons is the second single released from Ghosts of Taylorton and recalls the appalling working conditions and shady work practices which led to a labour strike in the fall of 1931. On September 29th, 1931, a parade of striking miners and their families turned into a conflict between protesters, RCMP and Estevan Police. The event, now known as the Estevan Riot, resulted in the death of three miners. Two Tons was embraced by college/campus radio and was added to stations from Yellowknife to the Maritimes.

Adeline is the debut single from Hook & Nail and tells the story of a young soldier bidding adieu to his love before he joins the thousands of other men in the trenches of The Great War. Written a century after the final year of WWI, Adeline honours longing and love in a time of war and strife. Adeline was selected for regional programming on CBC Radio One and has been added to the Canadian Singer-Songwriter Channel on the CBC Music Streaming App

Love You A Little While is a midtempo pop/rock track that was born out of the 2007 sessions to record yet-unreleased original material from local Estevan, SK hard rock group Shattered. The song features Shattered members Denny Klatt on Bass Guitar and Brad Belitski on drums.

After The Vote: The Basement Sessions was the second and final album recorded by Generation 'M' prior to disbanding and contains their only recorded original material. All members contributed both lyrically and musically, penning 9 original songs (Holy Smoke, How Can I Get Close, Into My Void, Web of Vain and more) and rounding out the record with some of their favourite cover songs by April Wine, Johnny Cash and Grand Funk Railroad. Following the recording of ATV:TBS, Charles announced his retirement and Mark's son, Joshua joined the group on drums and remained with the group until their disbandment in approx 2004-2005.

Finally... was the debut album of the Estevan, SK, family group Generation 'M' and contains a variety of cover songs that span artists and genres from Pink Floyd to Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen. Originally starting as a wedding and dance group simply called The Michel Family Band, family members Dave, Mark, Charles and Judy began in the 70's, and the group was expanded in the 80's to include Dave's son Jeff Michel Judy's son Aj Gowen (Seal Skull Hammer/Jimmy 2 Shoes & The Lost Soles). After re-branding as Generation 'M', the lineup continued with Dave, Mark Charles, and Jeff, and continued to play shows locally.

This is the earliest recorded material of The Michel Family Band on which Jeff appears. This cassette was recorded live in the Family Rehearsal Space (The Basement) by Phil Blondeau on a reel-to-reel machine in the furnace room while the band was carefully mic'd behind a series of doors and heavy blankets. The cassette itself was a very limited production (less than 100 were made) and captures the 6-piece lineup of Mark, Aj, Charles, Jeff, Judy & Dave (L-R).
